A Gathering Place for Disabled Veterans
Disabled veterans from the area gathered on Saturday at the Beaver Creek Invitational, a fly-fishing tournament designed to promote wellness by offering veterans the chance to learn and practice their skills. The event, held at a scenic location, provided a unique opportunity for participants to connect with each other and with nature.

A Keynote Address from a Marine Corps Veteran
Retired Marine Corps Lt. Gen. David Beydler delivered a keynote address to the participants, encouraging them to find activities that bring joy and foster connection. He emphasized the importance of finding something that one enjoys, ideally outdoors with a small group of people that you really care about.
